When do sales start in Poland in the summer? Sales Guide. When should you buy? Goods for children

Capital prices, of course, are higher than provincial ones, but even they cannot resist during sales. “Zniżki”, as throughout Poland, takes place in winter and summer, at the same time when a wave of sales sweeps across Europe.

Of course, Poland cannot boast of its own Paris or Milan, which sell the world's most famous brands. However, she tries to offer her clients brands that are popular, but not so expensive and prestigious. In shopping centers of the Polish capital, such as “Golden Terraces” or “Arcadia”, clothes from Bershka, Mango, Reserved, Orsay, ZARA, H & M are displayed in the halls and laid out on racks.

There are also outlets in Warsaw, “Factory-Annopolis”, “Factory-Urus”, where discounts already apply. And during the sales period it applies to them general algorithm markdowns, and then the price of your favorite brands drops by 80% or even more.
If you want even cheaper, then there is a huge indoor market in Warsaw with an area of more than 60 thousand km2. This is a bazaar-fair, it is called “Marivilska 44”, the cheapest clothes are sold here.

Winter sales in Warsaw 2019

Trade establishments in Poland do not wait for guidelines from the government, but plan their own activities. Therefore, the sales calendar is formed in fragments, based on the start of the promotion in each individual shopping center and store. Information about this is available in the administration of the trading establishment and on its official website.
The introductory part of winter sales lasts from the beginning of December until Catholic Christmas. At this time, the first “Zniżki” appear; they do not cover the entire assortment of the store, but are assigned selectively. And the price reduction is small, only 15-35%. Just before Christmas, a massive price collapse of up to 50% begins, which continues until the end of January. And then, at the beginning of February, a discount figure of 70% appears, then 80%, and then 90%. However, as is understandable, the amount of the discount is inversely proportional to the choice of product, and in the last couple of weeks of winter there is practically nothing to buy.

Summer sales in Warsaw 2019

They begin in Warsaw at the beginning of summer, in early June. The peak of summer sales, as one would expect, falls in July, by the end of which discounts will increase to 70%. In August, the numbers 90% will often flash, but the shelves will be empty; it is impossible to find popular sizes at this time.

Off-season discounts in Warsaw

New collections that went on sale, for which the sale made room, also need to be sold. Therefore, a month after their arrival, merchants see the need to awaken customer activity with new discounts. They are selective for that part of the product that is in no hurry to sell. Discounts are set at 20-30%.

Every decent store has a certain number of regular customers who are rewarded with discount cards. In an effort to increase their popularity and acquire a large number regular customers, stores hold various promotions. One of these types of attracting customer sympathy is closed sales only for discount card holders. They are usually held in the off-season and on the eve of big sales.

One-day mass promotions with a tempting program can also be held in shopping centers. Buyers will visit such a store more often in the hope of getting an unexpected promotion. In general, all means of attracting buyers will be used to achieve success in trading.

We use it ourselves, so we recommend: booking flights on Aviasales and hotels on Hotellook, watching excursions on, or

Food and wine

The most popular gastronomic souvenir from Poland is Krakow sausage. It is prepared from lean pork, seasoned with herbs and garlic - this was the case in the 16th century, and since then the recipe has not changed. Another interesting Polish meat delicacy is smoked “kabanosi” sausages. Previously, they were made only from horse meat; today they use turkey, pork and other meats. The sausages are first smoked, then dried for a long time and finally consumed with beer - kabanosi is considered one of the best beer snacks. This is a hard smoked cheese that is difficult to compare with any other; it has a slightly tart taste and is easy to transport.

Those with a sweet tooth will love Torun honey gingerbread with various fillings of fruits, berries or rose petals and “chestnuts” - small cakes filled with crushed wafers, cream and cocoa. The best places to buy sweets are at the confectioneries Blikle in Warsaw, Elite in Poznan and Wentzel in Krakow - they are considered the best in the country.

As for local alcohol, local vodka “Zubrovka”, elite herbal liqueur “Goldwasser” with pieces of real gold (there is a legend that they once cured the Pope of Rome from a fatal disease) and cherry liqueur “Babuni” are brought from Poland.

Today we literally live in the age of sales and consumption, when absolutely all counters and display cases invite you to visit this or that store. Poland is no exception, where you can buy almost everything, from unusual shoes and clothes, to children's goods, the latest electronics and chic jewelry.

Of course, the eyes want to take in almost everything they see, but the realization that you should still “live within your means” sooner or later takes over. That is why the eye constantly “runs” in search of such a “sweet” offer as “promotion”, “discount”, “sale” or something else like that. At the same time, all the principles of saving often go by the wayside and tourists simply row everything, realizing that there may not be a second chance like this.

Promotions and discounts in Poland, as well as throughout Western Europe, have become something like a sport in which you need to collect some coupons, have time to run to your favorite boutique by a certain day, or constantly monitor what, when and where will be offered at a lower price. In a word, saving simply smoothly turns into a mind-blowing desire to “buy at a discount.”

Discounts in Poland 2015 - a great addition to excursions

Whether you knew it or not, shopping in Poland can bring you no less emotions than lovely gatherings in a cozy cafe or exploring the sights of Kurnicki Castle. Shopping in Polish towns themselves can hardly be called exorbitantly expensive, because compared to other European countries, prices here are still an order of magnitude lower. Although, of course, if you wish, you can find goods at almost any cost.

Even more attractive are the discounts that you can enjoy immediately upon the arrival of the new year, because it is at this time that the first sales come into force. Of course, there are some subtleties and “disadvantages” of this period, mainly related to the search for the right goods in the complete chaos of prowling buyers. But, nevertheless, winter sales in Poland 2015 will certainly allow you to purchase, mind you, without a particularly painful blow to your wallet, those things that previously you could only drool over.

Sales in Poland, when to go?

Just like in all other parts of Europe, discounts and massive sales take place here twice a year - in winter and summer, but, having this opportunity, you should still give preference to the Christmas offers, because this will give you the opportunity to also admire the colorful lights of Poland, deeply inhaling the smell of New Year's holidays.

At the same time, of course, walking around the city alone will not do, because promotions and discounts in Poland will allow you to purchase just a lot of useful and necessary goods. At the same time, the first “raids” of local stores can begin from the beginning of December, when all preparations for the celebrations are just gaining momentum. Of course, at this time the cost of price tags will not fall so much - only by 20%, but it is also worth considering the fact that the chances of finding something really worthwhile, necessary and, most importantly, in size are quite high. But, you may be lucky and a few stores may still flash a notice about 50% sales. So to speak - New Year's gift! After Christmas, Catholic sales in Poland offer goods at 20% of their cost.

Sales and discounts in Poland in 2016

Dilemma – what and where to buy?

If we talk about clothes, shoes and accessories, then we can talk exclusively about the capital of the country - Warsaw. Typically, shopping tours here are quite inexpensive if the trip cannot be accomplished on your own, so it’s worth considering.

Another compelling argument in favor of this city is its simply “delicious” prices:
- women’s T-shirts and tops can be found for only € 4 – 5;
- men's knitwear will cost € 7 – 8;
- trousers, both men's and women's, can be found for just € 12 – 13.

At the same time quite a good choice You can find a variety of goods at affordable prices not only in, but also in. By the way, the latter city is very popular due to tempting prices for electronics and household goods. If you want to buy quite a lot of goods wholesale or retail, you have a direct route to. What can I say - winter and summer are the times when everything outlets Poland, ranging from small shops to large hypermarkets, can please you simply the most unique offers. But there are also places that are much more interesting than shops - vibrant Polish fairs...

Shopping with a round dance or going to the fair

These places themselves are already a little reminiscent of a holiday of soul and body, but a special atmosphere reigns here in winter, when there are noisy round dances with St. Nicholas - the prototype of our Father Frost. The most unique fairs, carried out in all the well-known old Polish traditions, sleighs with deer in Wroclaw, an illuminated fairy-tale house built directly from trade stalls in Krakow - all this, perhaps, is those very unique New Year's holidays.

You can usually buy anything at such noisy bazaars - wicker products, all kinds of jewelry, exceptionally handmade tablecloths and capes, a variety of souvenirs, clothes, shoes. In a word, whatever your darling desires! If only there was money, so to speak! In addition, it will be no less interesting for you to watch the painstaking work of the blacksmiths, who work right here, near the sales tents, literally “touching” hand in hand with wood carvers. At the same time, you won’t be able to do without treats from the generous Poles - hot mulled wine, beer, cheeses, pies and other pastries, smoked meats - and with all this you can pamper your stomach!

Sales should only be a joy!

Since you are not the only “smart” one, having planned your trip to this multifaceted country, you can be completely sure that summer sales in Poland 2015, let alone winter discounts, will definitely attract hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over Europe. At the same time, each of them will try to make the most of their time in the country of fabulous forests, sand dunes and charming ski resorts.

So, in order to avoid any unpleasant situations, you simply must “adopt” a few useful tips:

Travel to Poland at the beginning or end of the discount season. Everything is explained quite simply - first you can grab the products you like most with a price tag of “-35%”, for example, because there is a big risk that the item simply will not last until a later date. Well, the latest price drops, although they won’t please you with the most luxurious choice, will certainly provide an opportunity if available the right size look for T-shirts for 10 zlotys, cute raincoats for 50 zlotys, or very good trousers for some 30 zlotys.

If possible, choose Thursday for shopping, because this is when the assortment is richest. And the only secret is that most retail outlets are starting to prepare for the weekend.

Do not under any circumstances pass by outlets. Just think that these stores themselves, which are essentially stocks, sell goods for almost a symbolic price - discounts of 70 - 90% are not at all strange here. So, you can fully count on the fact that breathtaking shoes with sexy stiletto heels can be bought for only 50 zlotys, but not for 300. Well, besides, outlets will definitely become a paradise for “non-standard” shoppers, because the most unsold sizes are usually go here for boutiques.

Be sure to ask whether such, namely discounted, goods are subject to exchange or return. There will be just a lot of turmoil, and there may simply be no place for trying on for an hour, and therefore it is quite natural that some things that have already been tried on by one hundred and twenty-five women before you may show some defects. Well, the snag, strictly speaking, may arise in the fact that not all stores agree to accept the discount back or charge more for this purpose. short time. So, take an interest in advance and try to look as carefully as possible at the new things you like near the counters.

Don’t be lazy to make a preliminary shopping list, because this will greatly simplify your task. So, be sure to pay attention to children's products, outerwear and sportswear, as well as classics such as jeans, T-shirts, regular summer sundresses, skirts and the like.
By the way, when traveling on your own vehicle It’s better, of course, to remember that parking lots near shopping centers will always be catastrophically overcrowded and only the most restrained and patient motorists will be able to get in and out of them. Therefore, it’s worth thinking about, maybe it’s worth “throwing” the car somewhere nearby and fully surrendering to such a long-awaited shopping?

What can I say, shopping in Poland during discounts and sales is a truly unforgettable adventure, which, in addition to quality and necessary purchases, will delight you with such impressions that are difficult to even imagine. Therefore, plan your vacation in advance and
