Planning and construction of a sauna house

All timber for construction undergoes two-level control: visual and using an ultrasonic flaw detector. The guard under the scraper preserves the protective functions of the chopped log, and the choice of first-class timber for rounding reduces the thickness of the removed top layer.
Equipment
Walls and partitions
External walls are made from the material chosen by the customer for construction (solid timber, laminated veneer lumber, rounded logs). Internal partitions are frame, sheathed with class “B” clapboard on both sides. Under the lining of the frame partitions, insulation is laid - glass-staple fiber 50 mm thick, the insulation is laid on both sides with a vapor barrier membrane.
Floors
The bathhouse has double floors: the rough floor is an edged board 18-20mm thick, the finishing floor is a planed tongue-and-groove board 30-40mm thick. Floor joists are made with a section of 150x50mm, beams are installed in increments of ~0.5m.
The floors are insulated with 50mm thick glass staple fiber, the insulation is laid on both sides: on the bottom - with a wind- and moisture-proof vapor-permeable membrane, on top - with a vapor barrier membrane.
Ceilings
The ceiling of the first floor is insulated with 50mm thick glass staple fiber with two layers of vapor barrier. It is hemmed with class “B” clapboard from the bottom of the ceiling beams. Between the beams, insulation is laid - glass - staple fiber 50 mm thick, the insulation is laid on both sides with a vapor barrier membrane. Internal ceiling height 2.1 m.
Steam room
Inside the steam room, shelves-beds are assembled on two levels with backrests made of 18-20 mm aspen boards.
In the steam room, a door made of thermal glass is installed, the dimensions of the frame are 1.9 x 0.7 m.
Attic
The attic is not insulated as standard. The attic floor is planed tongue and groove board 30-40mm. The ceiling in the attic is hemmed horizontally at a height of ~2.4 m.
Doors and windows
Entrance and interior paneled doors are installed in the bathhouse. Panel doors are not equipped with handles for opening and locks. The windows are installed with wooden double glazing, size 0.6x0.6m and 0.9x0.9m.
Roof
The roofing is galvanized steel in the form of corrugated sheets.
