How to make a swan from plasticine
Prepare the colors of plasticine required for work. The main blank and all parts of the bird’s body will be made from the white mass: the body, thin neck and small head, tail and two wings. Black is needed for the eyes and the edging of the beak, red for the beak itself.
Initially divide the white plasticine into portions. This must be done if you have a limited amount of this mass in order to distribute it rationally. In general, the task is to make the body and two wings from the largest pieces, and the neck and head from the smallest ones. All the details are absolutely simple, you will see for yourself.
Make a white piece that resembles a bullet for the body. The sharp part will become the tail. Prepare the wire. It shouldn't be too hard. The swan's neck should bend under the weight of its head, but not fall; the wire will help with this. Plasticine itself is very soft, and it is necessary to resort to such a trick.
Stick white plasticine in the form of a thin tube onto the wire, leaving two ends free. 
Attach a small ball to one side of the neck - this will be the head, and bend the thin tube itself into a wave. 
Attach a small red beak to the head. 
Make a black border around the beak, characteristic of a swan, extending the threads on the sides of the head and showing the eyes. 
To make the eyes more expressive, glue beads. 
Connect the neck (bottom of the wire) to the body to make a bird shape that looks like the number 2. 
To sculpt the wings, take two white plasticine pieces and crush them into flat cakes. Give the shape characteristic of the wings. Apply striped imitation plumage in a stack. The wings should be the same size.
Attach the wings to your back and lift them up. The figurine of a beautiful and noble bird is ready.
