Compression (crimp) brass fittings
To install Comisa compression fittings, you do not need to have expensive tools. Connecting the fitting with metal-plastic or polymer pipe carried out using a simple wrench. When the nut is tightened, the pipe is crimped with a special split ring, and special grooves provide the necessary crimping force and hold the pipe in the fitting.

1) Trimming
Cut the end of the metal-plastic pipe with a pipe cutter.
2) Calibration
Insert the calibrator into the pipe. Rotate the calibrator while applying slight pressure on the pipe.
Remove the calibrator. Bevel the machined end of the pipe.
3) Fitting installation
Install the sleeve and nut onto the end of the pipe. Then slide the fitting onto the pipe. After this, you need to bring the nut and sleeve to the threads of the fitting.
ATTENTION: When connecting a fitting to a pipe, it is prohibited to use oils, fats, etc. lubricants, abrasive pastes or adhesives.
