    Currently the state Service center 90 people. the main task- ensuring uninterrupted operation of EP20 locomotives on the network railways in the following directions: Adler, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Anapa, Voronezh, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Kirov, Minsk (Belarus), Vainikkala (Finland).

    All types of repairs are done here. Constant monitoring of the condition of the locomotives made it possible to make changes to both design solutions and technical documentation during operation. Over the three years of operation of EP20, the mileage of the electric locomotive without changing the crew was increased to 1,700 km. Today, trial operation of locomotives with an almost doubled overhaul mileage is underway.

    On initial stage operation of EP20 electric locomotives, there were comments on the operation of various locomotive equipment, but thanks to the prompt interaction of the SC with the EP20 project manager, as well as with various directorates - technical; on production; on quality management and certification, it was possible to significantly reduce the number of design flaws and improve the quality of production and service of locomotives. And in 2016, it deservedly took first place in the competition of JSC Russian Railways for the reliability of rolling stock. This success was facilitated by the training of the repair center personnel carried out by the SC specialists, and the training of the locomotive crews of Russian Railways OJSC directly on the locomotive. And, of course, the creation of a free " hotline» for drivers, where they receive qualified recommendations in real time from service center specialists in the event of emergency situations on the line. Also, modern technological and bench equipment was purchased and installed at the depot, allowing for accurate diagnostics of the locomotive’s operation and identification of pre-failure conditions, including by decoding data from the electronic recording unit during each maintenance and repair, as well as unscheduled repairs.

    For NEVZ, this is the first experience of service maintenance from the manufacturer, but the SC team and plant workers cope with this task with dignity and have earned high praise from the customer - Russian Railways. It was decided to extend this service practice from the manufacturer to other new series of locomotives supplied to JSC Russian Railways.
