  1. I. General provisions

1.1. This job description establishes the rights, responsibilities and job responsibilities of a repair engineer _____________________ (hereinafter referred to as the “enterprise”). Name of institution

1.7. If the repair engineer is absent (vacation, illness, etc.), his duties are temporarily performed by a person appointed in the prescribed manner. This person acquires the corresponding rights and is responsible for the proper performance of the duties assigned to him.

  1. II. Job responsibilities

The repair engineer must:

2.1. Participate in checking the technical condition of equipment, the quality of repair work, as well as in the acceptance of equipment newly arriving at the enterprise, and, if necessary, draw up documentation for its decommissioning or transfer to other enterprises.

2.2. Monitor the activities of enterprise departments involved in repair work and testing of equipment, compliance with the rules of operation, maintenance and supervision of it.

2.3. To promote the implementation of comprehensive regulated maintenance systems that ensure timely adjustment and repair of equipment, efficient operation of the enterprise, progressive repair technology, highly efficient repair devices, and mechanization of labor-intensive processes.

2.4. Develop promising and current plans(schedules) of various types of equipment repairs and other fixed assets of the enterprise (buildings, water supply systems, sewerage systems, air ducts, etc.), as well as measures to improve their operation and maintenance.

2.5. Monitor the implementation of approved plans (schedules).

2.6. Organizes the preparation of repair work, determines the need for

spare parts for equipment repair, to provide the enterprise with them

on terms of cooperation.

2.7. Draw up requests and specifications for spare parts, materials, tools, monitor the correct use of them.

2.8. Prepare materials for concluding contracts with manufacturers for the supply of spare parts and equipment, as well as with specialized contractors for the overhaul of fixed assets (industrial-production and non-production) assets, and monitor the expenditure of funds for these purposes.

2.9. Participate in work related to the development and implementation of standards and technical specifications for the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.

2.10. Develop measures aimed at improving the organization of maintenance and repair of equipment, reducing the labor intensity and cost of repair work, improving their quality, increasing the efficiency of using fixed assets (increasing wear resistance and reducing equipment downtime).

2.11. Keep records and certification of equipment, buildings, structures and other fixed assets of the enterprise, make changes to the passports after their repair, modernization and reconstruction, draw up the necessary technical documentation and maintain established reporting.

2.12. Give opinions on rationalization proposals and inventions, on improving the design of equipment, organizing repair work and maintenance of equipment.

2.13. Provide practical assistance to innovators and inventors

organize the implementation of accepted proposals.

2.14. Participate in planning the technical development of production, major repairs and modernization of fixed assets, drawing up a balance of production capacities and their use.

2.15. Analyze the causes of increased wear, accidents and equipment downtime and participate in the investigation of their causes, as well as the causes of industrial injuries, and take measures to prevent them.

2.16. Develop regulatory materials for preventive maintenance and repair of equipment (standards for repair and operating costs, service life of spare parts, range of replaceable and wearing parts, norms and limits for lubricant consumption).

2.17. Monitor compliance with established deadlines for drawing up lists of defects and requests for repairs.

2.18. Carry out individual official assignments from your immediate supervisor.

2.19.Summarize and disseminate best practices in organizing repairs and

equipment operation.

III. Rights

The repair engineer has the right:

3.1. Inform your immediate supervisor about all shortcomings in the production activities of the enterprise (its structural divisions) identified during the performance of your official duties and make proposals for their elimination.

3.2. Involve specialists from all (individual) structural divisions of the enterprise in solving the tasks assigned to it (if this is provided for by the regulations on structural divisions, if not, with the permission of the head of the enterprise).

3.3. Contact management with requests for assistance in the performance of their official duties and rights.

3.4. Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the enterprise management concerning its activities.

3.5. Request personally or on behalf of the immediate supervisor from heads of departments of the enterprise and specialists information and documents necessary to perform their job duties.

3.6. Submit proposals for management's consideration

The repair engineer is responsible for:

- in case of causing material damage, within the limits determined by the criminal, civil, and labor legislation of the Russian Federation.

- in case of failure to fulfill or improper performance of their official duties, which are provided for by this job description, within the limits determined by the labor legislation of the Russian Federation.
