Top 5 best professions. Work with pleasure: the most prestigious professions. The highest paid specialists

Choosing a profession is not an easy question. You always want to find the best place where you can work and develop at the same time. Therefore, sooner or later, every person faces the question of what is the most best profession for him. Where does he want to get a job? Who to be?

It's difficult to answer. After all, it’s no secret that every person has their own views on life and work. So, one specialty is the best for some, but the worst for others. You shouldn’t be surprised by such ambiguity - everyone decides for themselves. But what answers can you find most often? What do applicants say, for example? What specialties are preferred?

By gender

It is difficult to say definitely which answer options to our question today are most common. After all, you can divide all professions into many categories, each with its own characteristics and criteria for selecting the best option. So you yourself must decide which direction to give preference to.

It is important to remember that how the best profession is determined, no matter how strange it may sound, directly depends on gender. That is, for men and women this question will most often have different answers. This is normal. For example, a man may consider, say, shipbuilding to be the best field, while a woman would prefer to work as a store administrator or secretary. But still, what options are most often found in surveys?

For girls

The best ones, as you might guess, are directions that do not require special physical effort. We can say that the fair sex is most often offered intellectual and creative professions. Those that do not involve special physical activity. This is fine.

And what is the best profession for girls and women? Many will answer - administrator. And it doesn’t matter which one or where. That is, in fact leadership position which does not involve heavy physical activity.

Also among the most popular and best ideas For employment, the fair sex can be offered the following profession:

  • hairdresser;
  • manicurist/pedicurist;
  • fitness trainer;
  • waitresses;
  • secretary;
  • operator;
  • sales manager;
  • cosmetologist.

In general, purely female directions. Very good options. But it's up to you to decide.

Men

The best professions for men are not those that force you to work physically. Rather, it is customary here to choose directions that bring moral and spiritual satisfaction, prospects career growth and, of course, high profits. Also, often the best profession for the stronger sex is some kind of narrow specialty.

There are a lot of different options here. It depends on what criteria to evaluate. In any case, men believe that leadership positions are more suitable for them, as well as something like a chauffeur (driver), installer, welder, engineer, businessman. As you can see, there are also quite diverse directions. It is generally accepted that there are purely masculine trends that are suitable only for the stronger sex. And among them such professions as welder, installer, programmer are the best.

Satisfaction

But there is no need to stop there. You can often hear that the best profession in the world is the one that brings you pleasure and moral satisfaction. Often people work in one direction or another just for the money, quietly hating their own responsibilities.

All this leaves an imprint on the efficiency of fulfilling labor obligations. And of course, even if the work brings good profits, but at the same time it does not in any way relate to mental and moral satisfaction, this option will not be considered the best.

Let us repeat once again that the best profession is the one that brings moral satisfaction. That is, you are happy to go to work and fulfill your duties with pleasure. And among these, creative professions are most often found:

  • photographer;
  • writer/poet;
  • designer;
  • programmer;
  • videographer;
  • designer;
  • cosmetologist;
  • hairdresser.

Nevertheless, this list can be continued indefinitely. After all, perhaps, any profession to which you devote yourself with all your heart will be considered the best. So here you decide for yourself which direction will come first for you.

Earnings

Often, earnings leave an imprint on both the popularity and prestige of a particular direction. The best paid professions are considered to be the best. But each country has its own views on this matter. What options are found in Russia?

Businessman, engineer, programmer, system administrator, IT specialist, builder, designer, economist, lawyer, lawyer, private doctor, deputy, official - these are the professions that are most often named among well-paid ones. This means that they are the best for most citizens.

The list doesn't end there. Moreover, if you look at the statistics, you can add teachers, rescuers and doctors to the popular professions. Only in practice their salary is not the highest. And the named areas, if we evaluate them by earnings, alas, will never become leaders in our current issue.

For students

The best professions in Russia for students are almost any position. It is generally accepted that a direction that allows you to combine study and work is what will suit students. This is correct to some extent. After all, it is not always possible and not in all specialties to work and study at the same time.

The best profession for a student, if you take a good look at the places where students are employed, is either a cashier/cook in a cafe fast food. This could include a manager-consultant, a salesperson in a clothing/cosmetics store, as well as a nanny, merchandiser or telephone operator. In reality, these directions cannot be considered the best and most profitable, but they are most suitable for students.

Professions can be judged by the game

What is the best profession? "94%" is a game that asks a similar question. And it needs to be answered. How exactly? What, according to the creators of this product, is considered the best option for employment?

The answer can be different. The first option that is offered is a doctor. It is impossible to do without it. Such a person saves the lives and health of patients every day, so his work fits the definition of “the best profession.”

But there are other options here too. In second place is the teacher. Also extremely important, and therefore best specialty. Next - the president (also a prestigious one), actors (everyone knows about them), astronauts (that’s how everyone used to answer), bankers (a profitable line of work), directors (a leadership position, which means the best) and rescuers. All of the listed options, according to the “94%” game, are the best, but in practice, citizens often do not give preference to many of the areas listed above.

Medicine

It is generally accepted that the best profession in the world is a doctor. Moreover, if you ask citizens, many will express this opinion. Yes, working as a doctor is not so easy. This is a huge responsibility. Therefore, it is customary to somehow elevate this direction in comparison with others.

But in practice, a slightly different picture emerges. It's no secret that the best professions in Russia for some reason do not include doctors in their list. With the possible exception of some narrow specialists, and even with the prefix “private”. In our country, doctors are state employees. And they receive low wages for their daily work. And this is a direct indicator that doctors in Russia are not highly valued.

Therefore, speaking about medicine, we can safely say that the best profession is a private doctor. Any direction. This is especially true for dentists, dentists, cosmetologists and psychologists. A private doctor earns well, which attracts citizens' interest in this area.

Education

It is also worth paying attention to another rather important area of human life - education. Teachers, according to statistics, are highly valued in Russia. And their work (by analogy with doctors) can be considered the best. But again, in practice everything turns out a little differently.

Teachers are also state employees. Their responsibility is high, but their salary is not very good. Therefore, this profession is not in great demand in Russia. More precisely, the country needs this kind of personnel, but there are few candidates.

It is considered prestigious and best when it comes to tutoring, as well as private lessons. In general, the situation is comparable with doctors. State-funded teachers are not what they aspire to. And here " private sector"is already highlighted by many citizens.

Figuring out which profession is the best is almost impossible. How many people - so many opinions. Nevertheless, we have named several quite popular and common options.

The prestige of a profession is manifested in two components: its relevance now and in the future, as well as its image in the eyes of experts and ordinary people. Based on these criteria, the top 10 most prestigious professions in the world and Russia in particular were compiled.

Hello! In this article we will talk about the most in-demand professions in Russia.

Choosing a profession is a difficult task that can affect your entire future life path. To somehow make it easier, I have prepared for you a list of the highest paid and most in-demand professions. You will find out who earns the most, who is worth studying for in the coming years, and what professions will be needed, even if a crisis suddenly breaks out in 2019.

The highest paid professions in Russia

In mid-2018, the hh.ru portal did a study on which professions in Russia are currently the most paid. The result is predictable:

  1. Programmers and system administrators. In Moscow for these professions - 100-110 thousand rubles, in St. Petersburg - 80 thousand rubles, and in the regions - 60-70 thousand rubles;
  2. Business development managers. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the average salary in the profession is 70-80 thousand rubles, and in the regions - 60-70.
  3. Internal auditors. Those who work on business processes within an organization. In Moscow they receive up to 110 thousand rubles, in St. Petersburg on average - 90 thousand rubles, and in the regions - about 40.
  4. Real estate agents. The official salary is small, even in Moscow. But with commissions it comes out to about 100 thousand rubles in the capital and St. Petersburg, 40-50 in the regions.
  5. Specialists in and. Marketers can earn up to 110 thousand rubles in the capital. In St. Petersburg it’s a little less - 70-80 thousand rubles. In the regions they are valued much less - 30-40 thousand.
  6. and economists. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, representatives of these professions can count on a salary of up to 100 thousand rubles, and in the regions - 30-40 thousand.

The Ministry of Education and Science reports that the number of vacancies in the field of economics and jurisprudence is decreasing every year - a reason for thought for those who want to be a lawyer and economist.

These are the most profitable professions in the country. Based on the current trend in the development of large and medium-sized companies, there is no reason to believe that the situation will change dramatically in the next 10-15 years. Except that some professions will emerge and become more relevant in the future.

The lowest-income occupations included cleaners, waiters, loaders, storekeepers and salespeople. Their salary is up to 40 thousand rubles, regardless of the region.

10 most in-demand professions in the coming years

Let's talk about the most promising professions in 2019-2021. The main criteria will be:

  • Income level.
  • Difficulty of learning.
  • Number of vacancies.

The following is a list of professions.

1. Sellers. They open our TOP of the most popular professions. I don’t mean the sellers in Pyaterochka or Magnit near your home. Nowadays the profession of a seller of goods and services is usually called “sales manager”. This is a person who sits in an office and sells to individuals or legal entities goods/services.

This is the most in-demand profession on the Russian market. Every month, about 200 thousand vacancies are published throughout the country, one way or another related to sales.

How much can you earn: average level wages across the country are growing rapidly. Over the course of a year, it rose from 35 to 45 thousand rubles. And this only counts as salary. There are much more prizes.

How long will it take to study: Sales training is very difficult. You can learn basic things, working with clients and stress resistance in a few months. But it is much more difficult to professionally master all sales techniques and learn how to talk with people correctly. The time to grow from a beginner to an intermediate specialist is six months. Before you become a real pro, it takes 3-5 years of active development and work on yourself.

In the near future, the sales profession will still be relevant. It is one of the most underrated professions among both employers and employees.

Gradually Russian business comes to what is impossible to obtain good seller for little money. Those who really know how to do something have to pay dearly.

2. Accountants. No matter how trivial it may sound, as business develops, the need for good accountants increases. Those who will be able to carry out all operations correctly, agree with banks that there is no need to block accounts, and explain to them that there is no black accounting in the company.

How much can you earn: The average salary in the country is 50,000 rubles. A beginning specialist in the regions receives 20-25 thousand rubles per month. A professional who has worked in an organization for several years - 40-45 thousand in the worst case scenario.

How long will it take to study: despite the complexity of the profession, learn accounting enterprises (in a separate direction) can be completed in a few months at any courses.

In the near future, the profession will remain as popular. Recently, many companies have opened and operate via the Internet, and this is an opportunity to work from home with any company.

3. Manufacturing engineer. According to the head of Rostrud, this is the most in-demand profession in Russia at the moment. The market is sorely lacking qualified personnel.

Compared to the two previous professions, the dynamics of salaries in the profession of industrial engineer are stable, plus or minus. This suggests that despite the crisis, enterprises are ready to pay their specialists the required amount.

How much can you earn: newcomers to the profession receive 20-40 thousand rubles, depending on the region and the specifics of the work. It is difficult to expect a high salary immediately after training. But a good specialist with experience has the right to count on a rate of 40-60 thousand rubles. The best specialists receive more than 80 thousand rubles, but the number of vacancies is minimal.

How long will it take to study: This is not a profession that can actually be obtained through courses. The best Moscow institutes have training courses, but they take at least 1 year. Better get higher education in this field for 3-4 years or secondary specialized in your region, and then - qualifications in higher education educational institution as work progresses.

In the near future, this profession will still be relevant in Russia simply because there is a shortage of qualified personnel in the country. It will be several more decades before this niche is completely filled.

4. Builders. The construction niche does not stand still, especially in Russia.

How much can you earn: The average salary of construction workers in Russia is 37 thousand rubles per month. General workers receive 15-20 thousand rubles. Narrower specialties - from 40 and above.

The highest average salaries for construction workers in the Magadan region are 140 thousand rubles per month.

How long will it take to study: Most construction workers received secondary specialized education. If you leave after 9th grade and go to a technical school, then only 3-4 years of study - and you can work.

In the near future, the profession will remain relevant. And this applies to both civil engineers and ordinary, ordinary performers. The higher you climb career ladder in this niche, the higher your salary will be.

On average, the level of costs in the construction industry is gradually falling. This is due to a reduction in the number of jobs and the transition of general workers and unskilled specialists to construction sites.

5. Sphere of IT technologies. I couldn't ignore IT. Simply because all professions in this field are in great demand. , content creation and promotion managers, etc. - the labor market in this area is truly huge.

How much can you earn: The range of salaries in the niche is huge. True, it starts with a minimum of 30 thousand rubles and ends with 200 thousand, but this is far from the limit. VIP specialists who can not only write code, but also supervise the work from creation to sale of a product are highly valued.

How long will it take to study: that's a moot point. The sphere requires both vocational training at the university, and continuous improvement of skills. 5-10 years is the normal time to get to high level. It is precisely because of the long training that this industry is only in 5th place.

This area is not going anywhere in the near future. It is actively developing. New business challenges are emerging, new programs are needed for them, and IT-related industries are being created. Everything is developing rapidly, and high tech are on the front line. The most popular Internet professions are concentrated in the IT field, allowing you to work and earn money without leaving home.

One of the main advantages of IT is that it is in demand abroad. Designers, programmers, testers, developers and similar professions are needed abroad. And there is even an opportunity to work from Russia on the Western market. Large companies are willing to meet specialists halfway.

6. Translators. Only taking into account the fact that the Asian market is now actively developing, and companies need employees who know not only banal English, but also Chinese.

How much can you earn: a newbie translator, even if he works not for a company, but for a company, can earn up to 40,000 rubles. An experienced translator who knows not only English and Western European languages can earn up to 80,000 rubles in salary and at least half of the salary from part-time jobs.

How long will it take to study: You can learn languages on your own, that's true. But it is better to work with specialists. Either at a university, or with tutors and native speakers. The first method will require 4-5 years of training, and the second - huge financial investments.

In the near future, the profession of translator will remain relevant. The expansion of production and the globalization of the world suggests that language barriers will only hinder business and economic relations in the future.

The main reason for the relevance of the profession is that there are really few good marketers. And the market is not yet ready to provide more opportunities for development in the profession.

How much can you earn: The average salary of a marketer in the regions is 40-50 thousand rubles. In Moscow this figure is 2 times higher. And there is a real hunt for experienced specialists. I know that the best specialist in the tuning niche advertising campaigns paid 100,000 rubles for an hour-long consultation.

How long will it take to study: marketers in general are one such profession that does not necessarily require vocational training. Simply because the university will not give you as much knowledge as you can get later, as you study the material and profession. There are many courses that allow you to enter the profession in a couple of months. And it will take 4-5 years to improve and reach a good level.

In the near future, the profession will remain relevant. New companies will constantly open, and they will need employees who can promote goods and services.

8. Electronics repair. The profession is more concerned with private business.

How much can you earn: Repairing electrical equipment is an expensive proposition. Private business brings in about 30-40 thousand rubles in the regions, and 3-4 times more in the capital.

How long will it take to study: You can learn and get better at it yourself. The main advantage of learning to repair is that there is information on the Internet. great amount guides on how to repair appliances yourself. And if hands grow from the right place, it’s a matter of a couple of months and a couple of ruined devices.

In the near future, this profession will remain relevant. As a type of private business, equipment repair will work great if you approach the issue wisely.

9. Electrician. This profession looks strange on our list, but good electrical specialists are in demand both industrial enterprises, and in .

How much can you earn: The average salary of an electrician is 40,000 rubles. At the same time, the salary depends on the rank and qualifications. Additionally, you can always earn money yourself through private orders.

How long will it take to study: this profession requires special training and education. Secondary-specialized, right after 9th grade - and already at the age of 20-21 you can learn a profession.

In the near future, this profession will still be relevant. As long as there is electricity, people who know how to work with it will be needed.

How to choose a profession

Two interesting trends can be seen in the Russian labor market:

  • There are too many average specialists, but very few professionals.
  • The number of workers is significantly reduced.

From this I would venture to draw two simple conclusions:

  1. The most profitable professions in Russia will remain at their level without significant changes. Salaries for average specialists will gradually decrease, but the salaries of top specialists, on the contrary, will increase. There will be a big hunt for VIP employees (the best in their niche).
  2. Salaries for blue-collar jobs that require professional training (such as turners, welders) will gradually increase. There is a shortage of qualified personnel, this will be especially noticeable if the economy changes course towards development own production(which is highly likely to happen in the next 7-10 years).

I highly discourage choosing a profession based solely on the income level in a niche. Simply because it will remain at the same level for several years, and inflation will gradually reduce real wages. If you do not plan to become a top specialist in programming, marketing, law or economics, then it is better not to go into these professions.

In the regions, professions that require work training are in demand. If you understand that it is easier for you to work with your hands, and you are excellent at doing it, it is better to pay attention to the specialty of an engineer, for example. In the coming years, such specialists will be in demand, and if there is a surge in production after a decline, then representatives of such professions will be in demand.

Managers are traditionally considered to be the leaders in terms of salary in Russia. According to the recruiting portal Superjob, offers for top managers - directors of organizations and heads of main business areas - start from 220-250 thousand rubles.

The upper limit is usually hidden behind the wording “by agreement.” This means that the salary depends on the qualifications of the applicant and will be supplemented by a bonus system for achieving certain results.

In some positions, managers' earnings are close to a million rubles.

In second place are specialists highly qualified in the IT field. Recruiters claim that this direction is more promising. Development Specialist mobile applications, who has proven experience, can already after 3-4 years of work in the industry qualify for a salary that a manager will reach in 10-12 years.

Also among the highest paid specialists are airline employees. Managers (for example, technical director) are offered from 300 thousand rubles, the pilot of an aircraft - from 350 to 470 thousand rubles or more, the head of the flight attendant service - from 150 thousand rubles. In addition, airlines typically pay employees annual bonuses based on performance.

Aeroflot recently introduced one-time payments for the employment of flight personnel: the aircraft commander receives 650 thousand rubles, the second pilot - 350 thousand rubles.

Good salaries can be earned by specialists who are not specialized (like pilots, for example) or who are not the most experienced (like managers with extensive experience).

As for the prospects, the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation found that the most in-demand employees today are qualified workers in metalworking and engineering production, high-level specialists from the fields of science, culture, construction, transport (in particular, pilots) and lawyers.

They began to train students in non-core specialties and dubious programs.

Due to the low quality of education and the excess of supply over demand, graduates had to retrain and look for another job. Some mastered blue-collar jobs, others went into the service sector.

Let's remember what was relevant in 2017

In September last year, the Ministry of Labor named engineers the most sought-after specialists on the labor market. The ministry also noted the demand for doctors and nurses (despite the introduction of automation systems) and skilled workers: electricians, welders, turners. According to the department, entrepreneurs, managers and document specialists most often remain unemployed in Russia.

The Ministry of Labor also provided a list highly paid professions based on vacancies that appeared in the first half of the year.

But what awaited young specialists on the labor market, according to Career.ru.

Customer Service Operator - a leading position for young professionals in 2017

But when choosing a specialty, it is important to think ahead.

Let's look into the future: what awaits us after 2020

The recruitment agency "Unity" surveyed Russian companies and compiled a list of professions that will be in demand in 2021. The top 5 included the following specialties:

  • Food production technologist.
  • Mobile application architect.
  • Biochemist.
  • Financial analyst.
  • Strategist in the field of search and personnel management.

Also, according to respondents, companies will continue to look for Big Data specialists, Java and Python developers, and mobile application designers.

Well-known companies in the labor market also conduct surveys. According to recruitment company Hays: more than half of respondents believe that their profession will change greatly in 10 years and will require new skills.

The Moscow School of Management Skolkovo and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives have compiled a list of “dying” professions. The list included the following specialties:

  • notary, librarian, copywriter;
  • tester, system administrator;
  • bank operator, analyst;
  • secretary, logistician;
  • driver, dispatcher, journalist.

Also, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo created the Atlas of New Professions. It includes over 100 new specialties, most of which will appear only after 2020. The developers identify 5 future trends: automation, globalization, increasing complexity of control systems, increased competition and environmental requirements.

However, while universities do not teach IT geneticists, space tourism managers and medical robot operators, it is worth paying attention to the list of professions adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation.

What profession should I choose?

No one will make the choice for you: you need to make an informed decision, taking into account forecasts, market conditions and, of course, your abilities.

What to do:

  • Take a career guidance test and consult with a specialist.
  • Study the list of professions approved by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Atlas.
  • Monitor vacancies: note in-demand requirements for applicants, salary levels.
  • Listen to expert forecasts and monitor the labor market. For example, HeadHunter periodically publishes reports on specific regions and industries. An example is on the website hh.ru.

P.S. We don’t live in the USSR: it’s unlikely to be possible to study, then get a job in one place and work all your life. You must always keep your finger on the pulse.
