From June 11, the VELCOM MMS service will be provided according to the tariffs approved by the company. The service has no connection fees or subscription fees. All incoming MMS messages are free, the cost of one sent MMS message within the network or to an address Email(regardless of its territorial affiliation) is 600 rubles excluding taxes. MMS messages are exchanged using GPRS technology, and activation of the GPRS service is not required. GPRS traffic passing through the mms.velcom.by access point is not charged.
Currently, MMS messages can be sent from one mobile phone to another in VELCOM networks, and also send to email addresses. In the future, it will be possible to exchange MMS messages with subscribers of other operators that support this service, and with service numbers of content providers.

The maximum permissible size of an MMS message is 100 kilobytes. The type of formats and size of messages sent are determined by the functionality of the sender's and recipient's phone models.
The VELCOM MMS service is available to all company subscribers, individuals and legal entities, connected on the basis of an agreement for the provision of GSM telecommunication services and who have mobile phones with MMS and GPRS support. You must activate the service via an SMS message with the text MMS ON to number 411 and then follow the VELCOM service SMS messages received in response, one of which will offer settings for the phone. An SMS request to connect or deactivate the VELCOM MMS service is charged according to tariff plan, selected by the subscriber.
Subscribers who had the VELCOM MMS service activated at the end of the test operation do not need to re-activate the service. With the start of commercial operation, all outgoing MMS messages will be charged according to the approved rates.
In the period from May 2 to June 10, the VELCOM MMS service was available in test mode, which allowed the company's subscribers to get acquainted for free with fundamentally new mobile communication capabilities - the exchange of multimedia messages containing photos, music, video and voice files, graphics and much more.

7. If automatic MMS settings are not recognized, the telephone set can be configured manually by entering the standard MMS settings specified on www.A1.by.
8. Company clients – legal entities if necessary, they may prohibit subscribers from independently connecting to the MMS service upon written application or through their Personal Account; (access level - Administrator).
9. MMS included in the subscription fee/cost of tariff plan/service are provided in accordance with the Traffic Provision Procedure.
10. You can simultaneously send one MMS to no more than 10 recipients. In this case, MMS sent to each recipient is charged as a separate MMS.
11. MMS is not delivered, and the fact of sending is charged for the sender, if:
  • sending is made to an incorrect mobile subscriber number or to a non-existent/incorrect email;
  • The MMS recipient does not have this service activated. In this case, the recipient will receive an SMS notification that an MMS has been sent to him indicating the sender’s phone number;
  • the MMS recipient is disconnected from the company’s communication network (outgoing or incoming communication) or has suspended the use of communication services by activating the “Pause” service;
  • at the time of sending the MMS to email, the recipient's mail server was faulty or did not process incoming emails correctly.
12. MMS is not accepted for sending and is not charged if it is addressed to a fixed network subscriber.
13. The storage period for undelivered MMS on the A1 network is no more than 24 hours, after which the MMS are automatically deleted.
14. If the subscriber has two services - MMS and " Mobile Internet", as well as when a subscriber uses a mobile phone that cannot differentially use two access points defined by the company for each of the services in order to ensure their correct provision and pricing, the subscriber is obliged to independently monitor the settings applied by his mobile phone, in order to avoid unexpected financial expenses.
15. The type and number of files of various formats within one MMS may vary depending on functionality telephone sets of the sender and recipient. If one or more MMS content elements were incorrectly detected by the subscriber's telephone, but the message was sent and accepted for processing by the MMS center, then the MMS will be charged.
16. If a subscriber with an activated MMS service changed his subscriber number or was disconnected from outgoing and/or incoming communications due to debt or used the “Pause” service, then for further successful use of the MMS service the subscriber must turn off and turn on the telephone.
17. The MMS service is provided in accordance with the tariffs approved by the company.
18. Subscribers of the company (except for PRIVET subscribers) who additionally have the “International Roaming” or “SMS Roaming” service activated can use the MMS service in the networks of the company’s foreign roaming partner operators.
19. The cost of outgoing MMS in roaming consists of the fee for sending MMS according to the subscriber’s tariff plan and the cost of the Internet session initiated to send MMS (calculated according to Internet roaming tariffs).
20. The cost of an incoming MMS in roaming is equal to the cost of the Internet session initiated to receive an MMS (calculated according to Internet roaming tariffs). 21. Dispatch and receiving MMS are possible only if there is two-way international Internet roaming between the Unitary Enterprise “A1” and the company’s roaming partner, namely:
  • between A1 subscribers, provided that one subscriber is in the A1 network, the second is in the roaming partner’s network;
  • between A1 subscribers located in the roaming partner’s network;
  • between A1 subscribers and subscribers of the company’s roaming partner networks, with which Unitary Enterprise “A1” has entered into an appropriate MMS exchange agreement.
22. Internet traffic and MMS included in the subscription fee are not consumed when using Internet roaming in the networks of the company’s roaming partners
23. The Company has the right to unilaterally change this Procedure without additional notice by publishing the changes on the official website www.A1.by.
24. In all other respects not regulated by this Procedure, the client and the company are guided by the provisions of the agreement on the provision of telecommunication services concluded between the client and the company.
